For the launch of the Cold Blooded SS18 pack, we positioned the new football boots as the ‘ultimate weapons of creativity’, and the ultimate way for adidas creators to prove their creative identity. 

Whilst primarily launching the pack as a whole, we knew the importance of clearly demonstrating the identity of each of the franchises to ensure that there was a strong reason to buy message.

We put three of adidas’ star players (Pogba, Messi and Suarez) in the director’s chair, and in control of their own films - giving them the chance to demonstrate their creative identity, and that of their individual boot. Pogba showcases control with the iconic Predator boot, Messi agility with Nemeziz, and Suarez speed with X.

The individual films rolled out across adidas’ channels and formed a mammoth hero film, to land the boots as the ultimate weapons of creativity.
