The need to successfully target consumers who live in areas where traffic to retail and restaurant locations has reemerged is high for most. At Iris we can leverage mobile location data to gain insight and act on reopened, high-traffic retail patterns.
As shown in the chart above, there are tremendous differences in traffic patterns within business verticals. We can see patterns are constantly changing due to geographical COVID response - particularly in terms of how precautionary the general population is in a given county area.
The important bit for our clients is that we now identify segments of customers and diners who are exhibiting very different behaviors from each other; some resumed normal retail shopping and dining out, while others were still largely sequestered. The ability to segment, allows us to appropriately communicate in a timely and highly relevant way through contextualized offers and messages.
