Ecoffectiveness

Reaching Net Zero has become a core business target for an increasing number of major brands. But in order to reach sustainable development goals we need to be asking ourselves a key question: how can we increase profitability while decreasing emissions to Net Zero?

Backed by the IPA we developed ‘Ecoffectiveness’, a first of its kind methodology that considers emissions as a key effectiveness measure. Our Ecoffectiveness video is currently the third most popular on the IPA's Effworks site.

At the centre of our framework lies an invitation for organisations to participate in the building of a dataset to help test our methodology.

On Wednesday 20th January 2021, Iris’ Global CSO and Ecoffectiveness co-author, Ben Essen, took to the virtual stage to discuss our findings and to explain how you can participate. We also heard from a panel of industry leaders on how they’ve been tackling this challenge within their businesses.

The ‘Ecoeffectiveness Ignition Workshop’

This virtual workshop is designed to act as an initial leap into Ecoeffectiveness.

We unpack the impact of your marketing on climate change and the levers you have at your disposal to decouple revenue and CO2 emissions.

We take a commercially savvy approach, informed by data and led by customer insights. This isn't about a detailed audit of scope 1,2 and 3 emissions, although we'll use that information if it is available.

This is about taking a fresh look at marketing strategy and propositions to enable growth that doesn't cost the earth.

The session is supported by a short research phase and followed up with a strategic approach and implementation roadmap.

You'll get access to our top talent in strategy and creative in a focussed and interactive workshop which will inspire your leadership with compelling visions of the future.

If you want to find out more about what the methodology means for you and your business, please get in touch.
