#huetown

Experiential Marketing Strategy

Philips Hue, a connected lighting system for the home, wowed early adopters and techies alike when it launched in 2013. Two years later, Philips wanted to connect Hue to a wider audience here in Australia.

To demonstrate the extraordinary lighting capability of Philips Hue we took to the streets of Newtown, one of Sydney’s most vibrant and cultural suburbs, and transformed a bleak, everyday bus shelter into a one of a kind dynamic, interactive light and sound installation.

Through the use of an interactive panel display we let visitors choose from a selection of Sydney inspired musical genres, from Pops Point to Surry Chills.

Product Marketing Strategy

#HueTown allowed us to showcase some of the product’s most innovative features, such as the ability to sync lighting with entertainment to create different ambient environments. While replicating the Philips Hue experience for users in a fun and interactive way.
