of UK adults recognise Cinch advertising

The Challenge

Sorting out your first (or next) car was trickier than it needed to be. In a saturated market, Cinch came into being to remove all the irritations and hold-ups associated with changing your motor.

The Approach

Working with Iris, parent company British Car Auctions created cinch from the ground up – rising from name-on-a-notepad to number one online automotive dealer in the market. The rallying slogan “Cars without the faff” reminded customers at all touchpoints that Cinch was the easiest of the online car dealers. With the help of Ryland, Cinch advertising became recognised by 70% of UK adults. It continues to be an established leader in the online auto market.
