Highlights from the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity

At this year’s Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, we joinedCheil Connec+ as they explored our Bentley campaign ‘Bentley x The Surgeon’. We were joined by Bentley Motors, Inc. - Americas Region President and CEO, Christophe Georges, and renowned sneaker customiser Dominic Ciambrone a.k.a. The Surgeon to discuss 'How Bentley Put Creators in the Driver's Seat'.  

At this year’s Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, we had an exceptional turnout at the Cheil Connec+ session as they explored our Bentley campaign ‘Bentley x The Surgeon’. We were joined by Bentley Motors, Inc. - Americas Region President and CEO, Christophe Georges, and renowned sneaker customiser Dominic Ciambrone a.k.a. The Surgeon to discuss 'How Bentley Put Creators in the Driver's Seat'.  

Outperforming is about taking risks because you believe in something and know what your customers want. It starts with the design before the execution. By making it happen you will disrupt the market and to achieve this, you may need a creator that will help you to connect with a different cohort who shares the same values of craftsmanship, authenticity and the substance behind the luxury.”   Christophe Georges

Introduced by Cheil Connec+ Global CMOJill Smith, the fireside chat was hosted by our Executive Strategy Director Dipti Bramhandkar and explored the importance of one-to-one creator collaborations for high-end luxury brands. 

“Bentley is at the top of its craft and understands luxury and craftsmanship at the highest level as we do. They gave me the freedom to create outside my normal limits by giving me full access to connect with Bentley employees and to understand each other’s craft. When these types of creator and brand collaborations are done for the wrong reasons, it never works. But when it’s like-minded, it makes an impact and it’s fun, both the creator and the brand can push the limits of what’s achievable together.” Dominic Ciambrone.

Not only did we host a fabulous event, we also took home GOLD in theStraight 8 shootout (again) AND the Grand Prix Win by Cheil Seoul.
